THERE IS ALWAYS A STORY TO TELL

I am Luuk Frank van Heerde

I was born in Amsterdam, moved to New York and ended up in Taiwan. Why? I just never wanted to be bored.

In Taiwan, I first lived on the slope of a volcano overlooking Taipei, surrounded by jungle, snakes and sulphur-spewing hot springs. Now I am on the North Coast beach, watching squid fishing boats, typhoons and helicopters hunting Chinese spy submarines drift past my window. Life here is, paradoxically, both peaceful and unpredictable.

I graduated film school and worked in film and TV for twenty years before I moved into branding & marketing. They are not that different. Both are about the art of telling stories, selling stories, and connecting to an audience.

This is what defines me, this is what I am at heart: a creator and storyteller. Here are some of my perspectives. I hope you like them.
